Our menu celebrates exceptional ingredients from our sister farms at Daylesford Organic and Wootton estate alongside seasonal produce from British growers and producers. Enjoy small plates with a craft beer by the fire in our bar or be tempted by the menu in our relaxed and welcoming Saddle Room.
We serve a mix of artisan ales and seasonal cocktails inspired by produce on our doorstep.
The large oak bar at the heart of the pub is an inviting place to enjoy a drink by the fire, choose from our menu of light snacks to accompany. The Tack room and Parlour are tucked away in a quiet corner behind the bar, overlooked by a large inglenook fire.
Please note, the Bar, Parlour, Tack Room and Garden do not require a reservation.
Our rooms are individually designed, each inspired by the surrounding countryside. Elements of raw materials reflect rural habitats, whilst bronze finishes nod to equestrian influences and luxurious, natural linens compliment views over a wildflower roof top.
Book a RoomWhen restoring The Fox, our approach was focused on reusing materials where possible while looking to natural, locally sourced materials that complement our rural surroundings. Working with experienced craftsmen, we set out to create a contemporary building using centuries-old techniques. We restored the existing Cotswold stone walls and used reclaimed timber, insulated our roofs with sheep’s wool from our organic farm and turned our own cattle hides into leather for the pub’s seating. Our aim is to leave the lightest imprint on our planet while creating unique spaces filled with warmth and character. Discover more here.
